If you answeredyes to these questions, we see a mutually beneficial and gratifying relationship on the horizon!\nAre you ready to grow with us?\nPosition Summary\nReporting to the Principal, the Tax Directorwill ….\nWhat will you do in this role?\nOversee the efforts of multiple client engagements, including supervising tax planning and tax consulting engagements with the ability to manage tobudget.\nManage client compliance engagements independent of the principals from start to finish.\nBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client sponsors and growing client base.\nConsult with principals, business and individual tax clients on various matters.\nDevelop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staff.\nConduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff.\nAssist principals and senior leaders with generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships.\nUnderstand our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients with our comprehensive solutions.\nContribute to peopleinitiatives including recruiting, retaining, and training our team of up-and-coming professionals.\nEnsure professional development through ongoing education.\nProvide thought leadership and insightful recommendations surrounding a broad range of complex issues by leveraging expertise and experience.\nSignificant track record of mentoring & coaching accounting & tax professionals.\nThe ability to articulate tax planning opportunities & recommendations to clientele.\nAbility to demonstrate enthusiastic & cooperative partnership spirit.\nWhat do you need to succeed in this role?\nBA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\n10+ years’ current and progressive public accounting experience.\n8+ years’ experience leading high performing teams, coaching, and mentoring staff.\nCPA certification.\nPrior leadership in a tax role in another public accounting firm.\nPreferably strong background in partnership taxation and proficient at tax matters affecting real estate clients.\nProficiency with computerized tax software & Microsoft Office.\nStrong client rapport & project management skills.\nAbility to manage projects independently of partners\nAbility to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.\nStrong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.\nChampion our firm and provide strategic direction.\nIn compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the base compensation range (25%-50%-75%)for this roleis $170,362.50 - $200,970.96- $231,579.43. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on several factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
