Are you ready to be a part of a team committed to changing the world?\nWho You Are\nSila is looking for an energetic and organized Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and support the recruitment process on a contract basis. As an integral part of the Talent Team, you will assist in coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and supporting recruiting operations to ensure an efficient and positive candidate experience. This position requires regular on-site presence, fostering a collaborative work environment and close communication with hiring managers and the HR team.\nResponsibilities and Duties \nSchedule and confirm in-person, virtual & phone interviews with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all logistics are managed, including meeting room setup and greeting candidates upon arrival.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing in-person support when needed, and ensuring prompt responses to inquiries.\n\nAssist in posting job openings on job boards and internal channels, and help advertise positions through local outlets when applicable.\n\nMaintain an up-to-date record of candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), with on-site assistance to other team members as needed.\n\nProvide administrative support to the Talent Team team on-site, including scheduling interviews, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.\n\nWork closely with hiring managers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of interviews and hiring events.\n\nEnsure candidates have a positive experience by greeting them warmly and providing a professional, welcoming atmosphere for in-person interviews.\n\nSupport other HR functions as needed, such as assisting with career fairs, and recruiting events, internship program.\n\nProvide support to Talent Acquisition Partners in recruiting related projects such as sourcing, job descriptions, training documents.\n\nKnowledge and Skill Requirements \nMinimum of 6 months to 2 year of experience in recruiting or HR coordination roles. \n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally in person.\n\nProficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheet, Docs).\n\nAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.\n\nAttention to detail and the ability to multitask.\n\nFamiliarity with Greenhouse Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment.\n\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions\nMove long distances (such as from building to building) and be stationary for extended periods of time\n\nOperate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location\n\nThis role will require regular attendance at our office in Alameda, CA. \n\nThe starting base pay for this role is between $26.44/hr and $35.57/hr at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, and equity. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
