General Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree program related to their area of interest
An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later
Relevant coursework, academic projects, research, student-organization involvement, or previous internship experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a collaborative environment
A willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and learn new tools, technologies, and processes
Software and Firmware Engineering
Candidates interested in Software and Firmware Engineering may be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Relevant experience may include:
Programming experience with C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, or another relevant language
Embedded systems, firmware, microcontrollers, device drivers, or hardware-software integration
Bare-metal, Linux, or real-time operating system development
Wireless protocols, networking, cloud platforms, APIs, SDKs, or developer tools
Software testing, test automation, debugging, version control, or continuous integration
Security concepts such as secure coding, cryptography, authentication, or embedded security
Product, Test, and Validation Engineering
