You’ll have an experienced dispatch and customer service team behind you, opportunities to increase your earning potential, and a company that recognizes strong performance.\nAs a Residential Service Plumber, you’ll diagnose and resolve plumbing problems, help homeowners understand their options, and deliver the professional service that keeps customers choosing Jones Services.\nIf you’re an experienced plumber who takes pride in quality work, communicates confidently with homeowners, and wants to grow your career without sacrificing your nights to an on-call schedule, we want to talk to you.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDiagnose, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems.\n\nService and install water heaters, faucets, toilets, fixtures, disposals, sump pumps, ejector pumps, and related equipment.\n\nRepair water lines, drain lines, leaks, valves, piping, and other plumbing components.\n\nPerform plumbing inspections and identify code, safety, and performance concerns.\n\nClearly explain diagnosed problems and present appropriate repair or replacement options.\n\nObtain customer approval before completing work and collect payment when appropriate.\n\nPrepare accurate estimates and complete service notes, photos, and customer documentation.\n\nCommunicate parts, scheduling, and return-trip needs promptly to the office.\n\nProtect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area.\n\nMaintain assigned vehicles, tools, materials, and truck inventory.\n\nCoordinate with customer service, dispatch, and other field teams.\n\nParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, sales, and customer service training.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nPrevious residential plumbing service and repair experience.\n\nStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.\n\nKnowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, materials, and applicable codes.\n\nAbility to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.\n\nStrong communication, presentation, and customer service skills.\n\nAbility to explain technical findings and available solutions clearly to homeowners.\n\nComfortable recommending appropriate products and services based on customer needs.\n\nSelf-motivated, dependable, and driven to achieve performance goals.\n\nCommitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality workmanship.\n\nApplicable plumbing license or local credentials preferred.\n\nComfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.\n\nValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.\n\nAbility to perform physical work in basements, crawl spaces, bathrooms, and outdoor conditions.\n\nWhy Jones Services?\nWe feel a personal responsibility to the people who choose to build their careers with us.
