These qualities should be supported by excellent project management skills and a strong knowledge of structural code requirements.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSupport and improve chemical handling systems and infrastructure\nIdentify and mitigate chemical and process-related risks\nGathering and analyzing data, blueprints, and reports. \nDetermining facility and equipment specifications. \nAnalyzing project costs and preparing budgets. \nDesigning and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls. \nEvaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies. \nDeveloping processing plans and optimizing resource allocation. \nPlanning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities. \nCoordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities. \nEnsuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards. \nPreparing reports and compliance documentation. \nReview and Optimize Facilities equipment Preventive Maintenance Items in CMMS. \nAsset Management, documentation, and Engineering. \nWorking knowledge of HVAC & fire suppression systems. \nWorking knowledge of High Voltage equipment and design. \nPrepare annual, 5- and 10-year plans for infrastructure projects. \nReview and monitor current processes to optimize efficiency. \nScheduling of routine maintenance. \nTroubleshooting any issues with the plant utility systems. \nAnalysis of potential improvements. \nPrepare Technical Specifications. \nAssist with the development of Annual Master Plans. \nSkills\nServe as a change agent to improve facility and chemical processes\nKnowledge of the building process and construction principles. \nKnowledge of relevant regulations and building codes. \nProven ability to solve problems creatively. \nStrong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. \nExperience seeing projects through the full life cycle. \nExcellent analytical skills. \nStrong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness. \nProven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills.
