You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of products, processes, and services. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and leadership abilities will contribute to the overall success of the company's quality management efforts.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nManage daily performance of QC staff \nResponsible for leading, motivating, and training QC personnel to meet or exceed department and company goals and objectives \nLead or assist in Quality department projects as assigned by Management and assist Engineering and Manufacturing with projects, as appropriate \nInvestigate root cause of customer complaints and initiate/complete corrective action, as appropriate \nPropose, promote and champion actions to improve quality, processes and product \nEliminate process variation and product defects through creative solutions \nMaintain ISO based quality systems \nImplement and manage systems to complete statistical analyses and control of all products including raw materials, WIP materials, non-conforming products, and finished goods \nEnsure customer requirements are met \nDevise ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency \nActively drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives using all available tools and technologies \nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies \nParticipate in internal and external audits \nDevelop and present KPI reports \nPerform other duties as assigned \n Skills\nAbility to work cross-functionally \nEffective interpersonal and communication skills \nExcellent time-management skills \nAbility to work independently and as a part of team \nStrong project management skills \nKnowledge of all PV related certification including but not limited to; UL1703, IEC 61215, IEC61730-1, IEC61730- 2 \nKnowledge in working with Lean Manufacturing/JIT, Six Sigma methodologies and Total Quality fundamentals \nProficient in Excel \nTraits\nDetail oriented \nExcellent mistake-proofing, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills \nEducation and/or Experience\nBachelors degree in STEM, related field, or equivalent work experience \n3+ years in Quality Assurance \n5 years in PV manufacturing or another PV-related field, preferred \n5 years in Supervision/Management preferred \nCompensation and Benefits\nCompetitive Market Wages\nPaid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday)\nEmployee Assistance Program\nMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance Plans\nEmployee Assistance Program\nTuition Reimbursement Program\nEmployee Recognition Programs\nEmployee PV Panel Purchase Program\nAdditional Information\nSilfab Solar is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
