This role also requires understanding of the warehouse process involved, from the receipt of goods to the shipment to the customer and can track this process within our information system. This role also includes receiving products from delivery.\n Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nVerify that the quantity and quality of goods received is consistent with the receiving slip; checks against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies.\n\nSafe offload and storage of goods in the appropriate location.\n\nEnter all goods received into the business system daily.\n\nMaintain inventory controls and manage the periodic inventory count in accordance with company policies and procedures.\n\nEnsure delivery of packages to the appropriate owner.\n\nComplete all paperwork in a timely manner.\n\nDeliver raw materials to the production floor from the warehouse as required.\n\nEstablish and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with freight carriers and suppliers.\n\nOrganize and clean the shipping and receiving areas as required.\n\nOther duties as assigned by management.\n\nSkills and Traits:\nAbility to package materials appropriate to their shipping or storage methods\n\nWorking knowledge of raw materials, warehouse, and production scheduling\n\nStrong forklift skills including driving vehicles indoors and outdoors\n\nBasic computer skills\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\n\nHigh attention to detail\n\nAbility to handle heavy loads\n\nAbility to communicate in written and spoken English\n\nGood communication skills.\n\nEducation and Experience:\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n\nPossess a valid driver's license\n\nCurrent forklift certification\n\nPreferred\nExperience within the warehousing industry\n\nAbility to drive Raymond Reach and Counterbalance - Standup and sit-down models\n\nFlexibility in work hours/schedule\n\nERP knowledge\n\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds independently and participate in team lifts of approximately 60 pounds as required for essential production tasks.\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position or move throughout the production floor for extended periods (for the duration of the shift up to 8+ hours per shift).\nMust be able to operate, position, adjust, or move equipment, tools, or materials necessary for production processes.\nCapable of performing consistent, manual production tasks over long shifts.\nMust be able to work in typical manufacturing environmental conditions, including areas requiring PPE, exposure to noise, and temperature variation.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n Compensation and Benefits\nWage: $21/hour - $24/hour\n\nPaid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday)\n\n401(k) Retirement Plan\n\nMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance Plans\n\nHealth Savings Account option\n\nSupplemental/Voluntary Insurance Plans\n\nEmployee Assistance Program\n\nTuition Reimbursement Program\n\nEmployee Recognition Programs\n\nAdditional Information\nSilfab Solar is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
