Participate and contribute to achieving the maximum utilization of Sage 100 ERP relative to the scope of materials management.\nOversee the maintenance of records for all shipping and receiving activities, verifying their accuracy.\nResponsible for the coordination of physical and cycle counts of inventories, ensuring the accuracy of counts including the coordination and execution of the annual physical inventory.\nMaintain inventory within the Warehouse per Silgan Unicep FIFO procedure.\nPartner with Quality and other cross functional stakeholders to support supplier qualification and requalification, supplier audits, and maintenance of the Approved Supplier List.\nManage Supplier Performance through established metrics and regular performance reviews, addressing gaps in quality, delivery, cost, service, and lead times while driving continuous improvement.\nSupport new product introductions, technology transfers, and validation activities by coordinating sourcing, supplier qualification, material availability, and other supply chain requirements necessary for successful execution and commercialization.\nParticipate in deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and other quality-system activities when supplier, material, warehouse, inventory, or supply-chain-related issues are identified.\nDevelop, implement, train, and hold accountable staff in the transactional discipline of the company’s information systems as well as on inventory flow between inventory locations and the production floor/work orders.\nDevelop and report against departmental initiatives and metrics to measure performance in coordination with Plant Manager.\nEnsure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements, in accordance with company policy and supplier management procedures.\nParticipate in the development, assessment, training, and accountability of direct reports.\nRegular attendance.\nAdhere to company safety and environmental requirements.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum 5 years management experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in an FDA regulated manufacturing facility, with a demonstrated ability to implement systems that promote GMP compliance preferred.\nKnowledge of GMP and GDP requirements.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.\nExperience with materials, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.\nDemonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated project management experience.\nProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).\nAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize meeting established timelines.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nFrequently required to sit and walk.\nFrequently required to walk up and down stairs.\nFrequently required to talk and hear.\nOccasionally required to stand.\nOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (12kg).\nVision ability includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable those individuals who are disabled as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act to perform the essential functions of this job.\nWage Range: $85,000-$100,000 DOE\nLIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER\nThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.\nAll job requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
