Designs, implements and debugs new and existing tooling to maximize efficiency\nFUNCTIONS:\nResponsible for the quoting of new product and product/process improvement.\nResponsible for project management including capital, schedule, product economics and providing quotations to sales for mold related projects.\nRevies mold designs and provide expert analysis regarding design, material selection and mold functionality.\nProvides engineering support to the mold/tool room.\nInitiates and executes product process and quality improvements in support of the goals of the engineering department and the company.\nConducts or participates in reviews (e.g. Product design, mold design, automation design and readiness reviews) to help assure satisfaction of product goals.\nInterfaces with all internal departments, customers, and vendors to effectively accomplish projects and other goals.\nContributes to the resolution of internal and external customer complaints as necessary and appropriate.\nWhen work in primary classification is not available, may perform other duties according to skill and availability.\nRequirements:\nBS in Engineering or Industry experience\nInjection Mold design and Molding experience (High Cavitation)\nExperience 5-10 years with a degree\nEffective written and oral communication skills.\nEffective communications skills with internal and external contacts.\nMust be motivated, analytical problem solver, able to work with minimum supervision.\nKnowledge and experience of CAD and/or Solid Works systems.\nAttention to detail and quality.\nLIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER\nThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.\nAll job requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
