We design and develop test solutions for our wireless SoC and module products used in IoT applications across consumer, industrial, and commercial sectors.\nOur team partners closely with product, design, and manufacturing teams to develop automated test programs, characterize performance across process corners, and deploy scalable test solutions at our global OSAT partners.\nWe work with industry-leading ATE platforms and measurement systems and play a critical role in bringing complex silicon to market with confidence.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and deploy production test solutions for RF/analog/mixed-signal SoCs on in-house and commercial ATE platforms\n\nCollaborate with design teams to prepare comprehensive test plans for new IP blocks, ensuing alignment with functional requirements and reliability expectations\n\nDesign test hardware (load boards, probe cards) tailored for manufacturing environments, ensuring reliable performance and compatibility with high-volume production requirements\n\nDrive test program development, optimization, and release to production for NPI products\n\nLead first silicon bring-up and characterization of new silicon with Design and Product Engineering\n\nImprove test time, yield, and coverage through data-driven root cause analysis\n\nSupport volume ramp and test correlation across sites and packages\n\nMentor junior engineers and drive process and methodology improvements\n\nSkills You Will Need\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of ATE development experience\n\nStrong knowledge of semiconductor test flows (wafer sort, final test, SLT)\n\nProficiency in writing embedded test firmware (e.g., in C/C++) for microcontroller products to support production testing and characterization\n\nExperience with ATE platforms with familiarity in systems such as Teradyne UltraFlex, J750, or equivalent\n\nFamiliarity with RF, analog, and/or mixed-signal measurements\n\nExperience in designing test hardware circuits and PCB layout using tools such as Altium or equivalent software\n\nProficient in programming languages such as C++ and Python\n\nDemonstrated ability to debug test hardware and software\n\nThe following qualifications will be considered a plus:\nExperience in wireless SoCs (e.g., BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Matter)\n\nUnderstanding of Design-for-Test (DFT), boundary scan, and BIST\n\nFamiliarity with test data analysis tools and scripting languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.)\n\nExperience using SiliconDash for manufacturing data analysis\n\nExperience with test automation frameworks and version control (e.g., Git)\n\nUnderstanding of semiconductor process flows and product architecture, with the ability to evaluate process variations and their implications on test and quality outcomes\n\nBenefits & Perks:\nNot only will you be joining a highly skilled and tight-knit team where every engineer makes a significant impact on the product; we also strive for good work/life balance and to make our environment welcoming and fun.\nMedical and dental insurance coverage including spouse and child(ren)\n\nBi yearly health screening and flu vaccination\n\nSilicon Labs is an equal opportunity employer and values the diversity of our employees.
