As a Senior/Staff Product Engineer, you’ll work closely with Design, Test, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure our wireless SoCs and modules meet aggressive cost, performance, and reliability goals.\nThe team supports a wide range of technologies including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and Matter, and partners cross-functionally to optimize test coverage, yield, and customer returns. We bridge design and new product launches to drive product excellence and operational scalability.\nResponsibilities\nOwn product engineering deliverables from NPI through new product launches and early manufacturing ramp support\n\nDefine guardbands, corner conditions, and ATE characterization strategies for robust product release\n\nSupport product qualification and reliability testing in line with JEDEC and AEC standards\n\nDesign burn-in hardware and develop stress test patterns (e.g., HTOL, ELFR, HAST) to support product qualification and ensure long-term reliability\n\nAnalyze yield, parametric data, and test results to identify and resolve issues affecting product performance, cost, and quality\n\nDrive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for yield excursions, test coverage gaps, and customer returns\n\nMonitor key metrics across fab, assembly, and test to ensure product health in production\n\nMentor junior engineers and help define best practices and methodology improvements\n\nSkills You Will Need\nMinimum Qualifications:\nStrong background in product engineering or test engineering for high-volume semiconductor products\n\nProficiency with data analysis tools and scripting language (e.g., JMP, Python, SQL, R) and statistical problem-solving methods\n\nSolid understanding of IC manufacturing, test processes, and failure analysis\n\nFamiliarity with analog/mixed-signal ICs or RF-enabled devices\n\nExperience designing burn-in hardware and developing stress test patterns for qualification and reliability assessment\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience (or MS with 3+ years)\n\nThe following qualifications will be considered a plus:\nExperience in wireless or IoT SoCs (e.g., BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi)\n\nExperience with ATE platforms or lab instrumentation\n\nFamiliarity with wafer sort, final test, and SLT\n\nKnowledge of ESD/LU qualification and reliability testing\n\nBackground in developing automated test flows or data pipelines\n\nExperience working in global, cross-functional environments\n\nBenefits & Perks:\nYou can look forward to the following benefits:\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)\n\nMedical and dental insurance coverage including spouse and child(ren)\n\nBi yearly health screening and flu vaccination\n\nOffice location is above Tai Seng MRT station\n\nSilicon Labs is an equal opportunity employer and values the diversity of our employees.
