The primary objective is to enhance the overall quality of the SiSDK and Firmware product. Most of our customers are focused on building Internet of Things (IoT) products, ranging from smart homes to smart cities and smart metering.\nAs a member of the Budapest QA team, you will be tasked with ensuring comprehensive test coverage for Bluetooth Low Energy radio protocol features. You will be responsible for validating our embedded products using a Python-based automated test framework. You will frequently interact with the Software Development Team based in Budapest, Espoo (Finland), and other Software Quality Assurance (SQA) groups globally.\nIn this role, you will get to work with cutting-edge Silicon Labs Wireless products while ensuring that our products meet the requirement of the Bluetooth standards. Our Budapest SQA Team is responsible for validating our embedded products.\nTechnologies We Use\nPython, Pytest, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Git, Cloud Based Computing, SQL Database, Windows, Linux.\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform functional and non-functional automated tests for Silicon Labs’ embedded wireless products.\n\nDesign and implement pytest-based tests for our embedded wireless solutions.\n\nAutomate and regularly monitor test execution as part of continuous integration.\n\nUtilize generative AI tools, such as Cursor, to enhance coding efficiency and leverage other benefits.\n\nWorking closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate test results, testing progress and defects.\n\nCollaborate with application engineers to identify use cases that require automated test coverage.\n\nIdentifying, reporting and investigating defects or issues discovered during testing.\n\nMaintain, manage, and improve automated test scripts.\n\nSkills Needed\nMinimum 2 years of work experience as SW Developer in Test or SW QA Engineer.\n\nStrong Python programming skills.\n\nHands-on experience with automation.\n\nCommunicate well and work well in a cross-functional teams.\n\nAbility to quickly learn new technologies.\n\nExperience with artificial intelligence (AI) powered tools and technologies used to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\n\nWe consider the following experience a plus\nExperience with, or curiosity about, IoT wireless solutions and communication protocols.\n\nExperience with, or curiosity about, embedded systems and embedded C/C++ development.\n\nISTQB certificate.\n\nEducation\nBSc/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.\n\nBudapest Perks & Benefits\nYou would be working from our office in Budapest, in Graphisoft Park, next to the riverbank of the Danube.\nWe also offer:\nAnnual Budapest travel card or parking in the office garage\n\nGreat cafeteria system\n\nOpportunity to join Employment Stock Purchase Plan\n\nPrivate health care access\n\nLife and accident insurance for every employee\n\nContribution to a voluntary private pension fund\n\nAYCM card option\n\nPaid days for philanthropy\n\nThe annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between Ft9,090,200 - Ft16,881,800.
