This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can bridge the gap between research, engineering, cybersecurity, and product commercialization.\nLocation\nRemote / Hybrid (US Domestic)\nClearance\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance preferred.\nEssential Role and Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain secure cloud-native AI platforms and supporting infrastructure \nBuild and manage DevSecOps pipelines for AI/ML workloads and enterprise applications \nDeploy and operationalize solutions within AWS GovCloud and other regulated cloud environments \nSupport the full lifecycle of AI systems including prototyping, deployment, hardening, monitoring, and sustainment \nImplement secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing frameworks \nIntegrate APIs, telemetry sources, enterprise services, and AI orchestration frameworks into scalable workflows \nCollaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to transition prototypes into commercially viable products \nSupport compliance initiatives including secure architecture reviews, ATO readiness, and security hardening activities \nContribute to technical strategy, platform scalability, and product roadmap development \nAssist with technical proposal development, demonstrations, and customer engagements when needed\nWhat You’ll Work On\nSecure AI-enabled applications and platforms \nGovernment and enterprise cloud deployments \nAI orchestration and workflow automation \nDevSecOps modernization initiatives \nProduction-ready commercialization efforts \nMission-focused emerging technology solutions \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) \n5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, or AI platform development \nHands-on experience with AWS GovCloud deployments and secure cloud architectures \nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevSecOps practices \nStrong programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Go, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar \nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.) \nFamiliarity with AI/ML workflows, LLM integrations, or AI-enabled application architectures \nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.) \nUnderstanding of secure software development practices and cybersecurity fundamentals \nAbility to work independently in highly technical and evolving environments \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience deploying AI/ML workloads in classified, regulated, or mission-critical environments \nFamiliarity with agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, vector databases, or AI orchestration frameworks \nExperience supporting ATO, RMF, FedRAMP, IL5/IL6, or related compliance efforts \nKnowledge of secure enclave architectures and air-gapped deployment models \nExperience with AI product commercialization, transition-to-production efforts, or dual-use technology development \nBackground in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or offensive/defensive security engineering \nActive or previously held U.S. Government security clearance \nExperience supporting DoD, federal, or national security customers \nDesired Traits\nBuilder mindset with strong ownership and execution skills \nComfortable operating in ambiguity and rapidly evolving technical environments \nStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders \nPassion for emerging AI technologies and secure system design\nAbility to balance innovation with operational reliability and security\nEqual Opportunity Employer Statement\nSilotech Group, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
