Since this is an entry-level position, you will need to show determination and drive to further your skill set.\nLocation\nPrimarily at client locations as the direct onsite face of Silotech Group to a specific group of geographically local clients in your region, such as Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston or McAllen.\nClearance\nN/A\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience\nCompTIA A+ Certification, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months. (Can substitute a higher-level certification)\nHigh School Education with 3 years of Experience OR Technical bachelor’s degree with 1 year of Experience.\nSkillset\nUnderstand the basics of computer desktop management.\nAbility to add and remove users from software platforms and Windows Server environments.\nTroubleshooting knowledge of Windows and Mac desktops.\nUnderstand the basics of networking.\nSelf-motivated and ready to be part of a team that gets the job done.\nWork Schedule\nWork to be completed during assigned work hours and also outside of scheduled work hours on an emergency basis.\nOn-call weekends are paid a bonus and are given first to volunteers when they are available, and otherwise assigned as necessary.\nPhysical and Peripheral Requirements\nMust be able to lift and carry 75 pounds for 50’ and up 30 steps.\nMust be comfortable climbing a 16’ ladder.\nMust be able to use tools, including hand tools, power tools and cutting tools such as drills, saws, screwdrivers, and snips.\nMust have a valid Texas Driver’s License.\nMust have a vehicle to use when deploying to job sites.
