Leads production support and quality initiatives to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations while maintaining product quality standards and driving continuous improvement.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nReviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.\nPlans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.\nPrepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.\nReviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.\nInspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.\nDevelops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.\nDirectly manages all daily activities and long-term objectives of their department, in conjunction with managers across shifts or departments.\nProvides proactive, efficient, and reliable supervision for assigned shift; ensures safety, quality, GMP compliance, work rules and collaborative efforts across the production line.\nMonitors overall quality of the product by performing periodic inspections.\nInitiates resolution of technical, unusual, or complex problems or issues.\nFood Safety\nResponsible and?required?to notify management about actual or potential food safety?issues;?and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work. Impacts and promotes organizational strategy and vision. Creates linkages for employees on how they impact business strategy.
