You thrive in a mission-driven environment and are passionate about supporting patients and families during critical moments by ensuring efficient intake and exceptional customer service.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nManage all aspects of the patient intake process, including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources\nRespond promptly to customer requests and concerns\nVerify insurance coverage and manage authorization processes\nSchedule appropriate staff to meet with patients/families to discuss hospice services\nOvercome initial objections to hospice services with compassion and professionalism\nCoordinate hospital discharges and admissions\nPerform accurate data entry and maintain admission tracking logs\nQualifications\nMinimum of 1 year experience dealing with the public via telephone or in person, preferably in customer service or inside sales\nProficiency in Microsoft Outlook required\nAbility to type at least 50 words per minute and manage records/files\nBasic computer skills (Forms, Labels, Excel, Outlook, Word)\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nAbility to read, write, and speak clear English\nEmpathetic communication style with patients, families, and associates\nReliable transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards (driver’s license not required unless specified)\nWhy Choose Silverado?\nFortune Magazine Best Workplace in Aging Services™\nCertified Great Place to Work®\nPaid training and strong internal mobility\nSchedule: Full Time, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Saturday and Sunday, 3:30pm - 12:00am\nShift times could change based on the needs of the business.
