This position will work closely with Town & Country’s affiliated builder and mortgage partners, helping these partners provide an outstanding customer experience throughout the homebuying or refinance process.\nWhat will you do in this role?\nThe Builder Escrow Coordinator provides closing services for residential builder purchases and refinance transactions, with a particular focus on integration with internal affiliate clients.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nManage the overall closing process on assigned files/clients.\nMaintain a professional relationship with customers.\nProvide the status of the transaction throughout the closing process to the appropriate customers.\nReview contract, title commitment, and lender instructions in order to prepare settlement statements and the necessary real estate documents for closing.\nWork with contractual presenters to provide a professional closing experience to include: obtaining appropriate signatures, handling of good funds, and meeting all title and lender requirements.\nVerify receipt of good funds and disburse those funds to appropriate parties.\nOther Duties and Responsibilities:\nTeam player. At times assisting (where applicable) the Escrow Processor/Closing Assistant teams to obtain and/or update file information when needed for processing.\nCommunicate with Supervisor and Co-Team Members on workload and scheduled closings.\nRegular communication with other Escrow and Title Team Members as applicable.\nOther duties as assigned.\nSome travel to closings and other company offices to work may be required.\nYou Have:\nExperience as an escrow closer/officer for a title company or escrow company working on Builder, Resale, and Refinance files. \nMust have Current Notary/be qualified to conduct closings for Kansas and Missouri properties.\nHave the necessary licensure in order to act as an Escrow Officer in Kansas and Missouri.\nAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.\nUnderstanding of Escrow accounting a plus.\nUnderstanding of Aim+, Sureclose, and/or Softpro title production systems a plus but not required. \nProficient knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, legal documents, and real property law.\nAbility to build and maintain productive customer relationships.\nAble to work independently with minimal supervision.\nExperience with developing alliances with others as necessary to accomplish work assignments.\nAble to follow all company procedures and policies including meeting the company customer service expectations.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nGood analytical and documentation skills.\nGood customer service skills along with excellent problem-solving ability.\nAbility to productively interact with peers, customers and management.\nProficient with internet navigation.\nAttention to detail, professionalism, organized and ability to prioritize multiple work assignments simultaneously.\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.\nAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.\nMust be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.\nBenefits & Perks\nComprehensive benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA accounts, 401K, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and EAP\nTime Off benefits include Vacation, Sick, Holiday, Bereavement, Jury Duty, FMLA, refresh, floating holidays, and parental leave\nFlexible work-from-home options (depending on position)\nHome purchase discount\nTuition Reimbursement\nExpected Salary: $26.44 to $31.25 per hour depending on experience - This position is eligible for additional performance incentives through quarterly bonus opportunities.\nAll benefits are subject to qualification and hire dates.\nNOTE: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.\nTown & Country Title Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and does not make employment decisions based on sex, including gender identity and pregnancy, color, race, religion, national origin, or age of 40 and older\nExemption Justification: Non-Exempt.\nWhy Clayton?\nFull-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
