Primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring proper procedures are followed for incoming electronic and mechanical parts and during the manufacturing and testing process. This role is also responsible for investigating any quality issues, anomalies, or failures and will work alongside engineering and suppliers to recommend any necessary changes or improvements.\nThis position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.\nThe following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components.\nConduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary.\nAbility to inspect First Article components and subassemblies.\nPrepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.\nMaintain Quality documentation.\nIdentify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMinimum 1-3 years of electronic part inspection experience.\nProficient experience utilizing inspection tools (i.e., multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes).\nDemonstrated proficiency in reading basic schematics, specifically those related to PCBs and PWAs.\nRead and interpret part documentation, including blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.\nUtilize Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and various communication systems effectively.\nIdentify and escalate potential issues.\nMaintain clear and accurate records and documentation.\nMust have excellent organizational skills, possess high attention to details, with the capacity to handle numerous tasks simultaneously.\nExcellent and effective oral and written communication.\n NOTE - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.\nAll employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.\nPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nIPC-J-STD 610, 620, or 001.\nAbility to recognize the importance of processes and procedures and follow them accordingly.\nAbility to remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands.\nEffectively evaluate workload and manage competing priorities and deadlines.\nProactively recognize challenges or risks and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.\nWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nOccasional exposure to heat and cold.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:Perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves.\nKneeling or squatting to access lower shelves.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments.\nWalking/Moving in the labs.\n\nCOMPENSATION\nThe pay range is NOT a guarantee.
