The successful individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production. This role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities, managing staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The Production Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Shipping, to meet production targets, customer on-time delivery, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, based at Silvus Technologies’ Culver City warehouse location. \nOccasional travel (<20%) may be required between Silvus Technologies’ Culver City warehouse and the Silvus Technologies’ HQ in West LA.\nThe following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPlan, organize, and oversee daily production operations, track KPI’s to meet output, quality, and on-time delivery.\nSupervise and lead the team ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance management.\nMonitor workflow, equipment utilization, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.\nEnsure products are manufactured in accordance with quality specifications and customer requirements.\nCollaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.\nAnalyze production data and prepare reports on performance, productivity, capacity, and resource usage.\nDevelop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.\nOversee preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with Quality Engineering to ensure reliable equipment performance.\nDrive employee engagement, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation.\nImplement and enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations in compliance with company and industry standards.\nPerform other related duties of which the above are representative.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nPrevious experience overseeing electronics manufacturing.\n3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in electronics manufacturing.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nDetail-oriented and self-motivated, demonstrating strong initiative, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.\nProficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Excel.\nDependable and positive, with a strong team-oriented mindset.\nLeadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage teams effectively.\n Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.\nAll employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.\nPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nA Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field is desirable.\n7 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.\nExperience developing and maintaining a quality management system is a plus.\nExperience with military-grade manufacturing is a plus.\nWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nOffice environment.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:Perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves.\nKneeling or squatting to access lower shelves.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments.\nWalking/Moving in the labs.\n\nCOMPENSATION\nThe pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.\nCA Pay Range\n$112,000—$135,000 USD\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
