The successful individual in this role will understand performance requirements, develop test plans, implement test infrastructure and perform demonstrations of Silvus’ Networked Electronic Warfare capabilities and other wireless products and technologies under development in the Research and Development (R&D) department.\nThis position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.\nThe following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOwn the complete design and execution of full coverage test procedures for novel Radio Frequency (RF) sensing and other effects using Silvus hardware and software products.\nWork closely with R&D and Engineering teams to understand performance requirements and expected system behaviors. Define test plans, implement test automation, perform troubleshooting and qualification of new designs.\nWork closely with the Software Development teams to augment test systems to support rollout of new features and product configurations.\nDesign and implement logging and analysis tools to capture performance of both the systems under test and the test infrastructure itself.\nPerform other related duties of which the above are representative.\nTravel Requirements - Occasional travel away from the office, including overnight, to support experimentation and demonstration of cutting-edge technology under development.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant technical fields.\nA minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, specifically in Electronic Warfare system testing. \nDemonstrated experience in embedded software/firmware testing, scripting, C/C++, and python.\nProven experience with lab instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and wireless environment emulation equipment. \nProven experience with wireless and radio communication systems, radio frequency signal propagation principles, and digital communication technologies.\nStrong verbal and written communications skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders.\nExcellent organizational skills and attentiveness to details.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.\nAll employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.\nPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nAdvanced degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.\nDemonstrated experience with TCP/IP networking.\nAbility to work independently, take initiative, and effectively interact with cross-functional teams and customers.\nWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nOffice and laboratory environments.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:Lift equipment up to 20 lbs. for the set-up of demonstrations and testing.\nPerform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves.\nKneeling or squatting to access lower shelves.\nWalking/Moving in the labs.\n\nCOMPENSATION\nThe pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.\nCA Pay Range\n$140,000—$195,000 USD\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
