This role owns the administration of Simbe's PLM tool and data, authors and drives change orders through approval, and enforces the documentation standards and processes that keep Simbe's hardware programs traceable and audit-ready as the company scales globally.\nResponsibilities\nChange Order Management\nAuthor change orders - including ECOs, MCOs, and Deviations - with input from Engineering and Operations\n\nDrive change orders through the full approval workflow, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain timely sign-offs\n\nCommunicate changes to suppliers and contract manufacturers, and track their feedback including implementation and effectivity dates\n\nPLM Administration\nAdminister the Arena PLM tool, including user and supplier access, change order workflow definition, and approval matrix configuration\n\nServe as the business owner of the Item Master, BOM Master, Approved Vendor List, and overall document data integrity\n\nMaintain part lifecycle status and enforce consistent BOM structuring practices across all hardware programs\n\nProcess and Standards\nDevelop, implement, and enforce change order processes, revision and version control policies, BOM structuring guidelines, and documentation standards\n\nIssue new part numbers and enforce part numbering conventions across programs\n\nContinuously identify and drive improvements to PDM/PLM processes as Simbe's product lines and supplier base grow\n\nSupplier and Cross-Functional Coordination\nPartner with Supply Chain to drive change implementation and traceability with contract manufacturers and component suppliers\n\nWork closely with Engineering to ensure changes are documented accurately and released with complete, correct data\n\nTrack supplier commitment dates for change implementation through to closure\n\nSkills and Qualifications\nMinimum of 5 years experience as a PDM or Document Control Analyst administering a PLM tool on a world-class product change control team\n\nArena experience strongly preferred\n\nSubject Matter Expert in PDM/PLM processes, including BOM structuring, revision/version management, material disposition, and supplier implementation\n\nExperience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers across time zones and language barriers\n\nAbility to excel in a high-velocity environment, maintaining focus and composure under pressure\n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\n\nAttention to Detail: Rigorous about data accuracy and integrity across item, BOM, and vendor records\n\nProcess Discipline: Comfortable enforcing standards and pushing back when documentation doesn't meet requirements\n\nCollaboration: Strong communicator who works effectively across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and external suppliers\n\nMission Alignment: Passion for Simbe's mission to transform retail through autonomous robotics and a commitment to the data integrity that reliable hardware programs depend on","description_format":"text","description_chars":3302,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Retail & Commercial Robotics","Retail & Commerce AI"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-30T03:02:16Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 5 · green card filings: 1","filings_12m":5,"filings_prev_12m":1,"green_card_filings_12m":1,"median_offered_wage_usd":160000,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-03T21:08:04+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)","US Department of Labor: PERM disclosure data (green cards)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":8,"expected_fill_days":118,"reasons":["conf:6","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-03T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":120000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/simbe-robotics-product-data-management-analyst","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/simbe-robotics-product-data-management-analyst.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-04T01:40:45Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2155,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2845,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-05T00:00:00Z"}}}
