We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, business consultants are essential to us.\nIn the role of Lead Business Consultant specializing in Data Management and Data Integration, your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients' projects. You will normally be working full-time on implementation projects, which require your special expertise in Data Management and Data Integration, and you will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream. You will act as an important sparring partner for your clients and effectively monitor, coordinate, and escalate issues as needed.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nTake responsibility for major workstreams within SimCorp One® implementation projects, with a focus on data management, data integration, and investment operations processes for asset managers, asset owners, banks, and insurers.\nWork closely with clients to understand their business requirements, operating model, data architecture, and integration needs, and translate these into practical solutions that support the optimal use of SimCorp One®.\nLead or contribute to solution design for key investment data domains, including security master and reference data, pricing and market data, trade data, position and holdings data, and data vendor integrations.\nDesign, configure, and support data flows between SimCorp One® and upstream or downstream systems, including order management, accounting, performance, risk, reporting, data warehouse, and enterprise data management platforms.\nAct as a key client contact for questions related to SimCorp One®, implementation design, data integration, data quality, and investment operations workflows.\nWork in close cooperation with the Project Manager and other project leads to drive project delivery, manage assigned scope, resolve issues, and contribute to successful client outcomes.\nGain a strong understanding of SimCorp’s Global Standard Solutions and apply them effectively to support scalable, standardized, and efficient project delivery.\nSupport data analysis, mapping, validation, testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution throughout the implementation lifecycle.\nInstruct, support, and mentor less experienced colleagues on project tasks, solution design, configuration, and implementation best practices.\nContribute to improving implementation methods, data integration standards, reusable delivery assets, and best practices across projects.\nActively participate in knowledge sharing with colleagues across regions and contribute to the continued development of SimCorp’s global consulting capability.\nWhat we value\nMost importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. We expect you to have expertise at several of the following:\nPrevious experience as an Analyst, Implementation Consultant, Data Consultant, Business Consultant, or similar role supporting asset managers, asset owners, banks, custodians, data vendors, or financial technology providers.\nStrong understanding of investment data domains, including several of the following:Security master and reference data\nInstrument and issuer data\nPricing and market data\nIndex and benchmark data\nTrade, position, transaction, and holdings data\nCorporate actions and lifecycle events\nData quality, validation, enrichment, and exception management\n\nExperience working with financial data vendors, custodians, market data providers, or internal enterprise data platforms.\nStrong knowledge of enterprise data management concepts, including data sourcing, data integration, data governance, data lineage, data quality controls, and golden-source data management.\nHands-on experience with data integration between investment management platforms and upstream/downstream financial systems, such as order management, accounting, reporting, data warehouses, and client reporting platforms.\nExcellent know-how in several of the following technical areas:Data integration architecture, patterns, and standards\nREST APIs, web services, JSON, XML, XSLT, and file-based integrations\n SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server\nETL/ELT tools, data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation\nTesting, including integration testing, regression testing, and data validation\nContinuous integration and delivery practices\n\nExperience working on software implementation projects in the financial industry, preferably involving data management, data integration, investment operations, or investment accounting platforms.\nAbility to analyze client requirements, design practical solutions, document data flows and mappings, support configuration, and guide clients through implementation, testing, and go-live.\nBasic to strong understanding of financial instruments, investment workflows, and operational processes across the investment lifecycle.\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Science, or a related discipline. An advanced degree is a plus.\nSelf-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a project team.\nStrong ownership of assigned tasks with the ability to deliver high-quality results on time.\nExcellent communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and client stakeholders.\nHands-on experience with SimCorp One® or similar investment management platforms is a plus.\nAbility and willingness to travel to client sites as required.\nBENEFITS\nAn attractive salary, bonus scheme, and pension are essential for any work agreement.
