You will work closely with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure reliability, performance, and automation for both newly onboarded and long-running clients on the SimCorp SaaS offering.\nYour contributions will drive stability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in our Azure-based environments while supporting SimCorp’s transformation into a cloud-native SaaS provider. This role blends active engineering, incident response, platform configuration, and service quality, - guided by ITIL and SRE best practices.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR\nOwn the reliability, scalability, and performance of Azure-hosted environments\nLead operational support and onboarding activities for new and running client platforms\nProvide technical leadership in SRE practices, tooling, and incident response\nGuide the transition of manual processes into automated, scalable solutions\nLead solutions workshops, engage with vendors, and manage senior stakeholders\nImplement and evolve observability frameworks using SLOs, SLIs, and proactive alerting\nOversee disaster recovery planning, incident postmortems, and root cause analysis\nEnsure high-quality onboarding delivery through reusable automation pipelines\nMentor and support the growth of junior and senior engineers in your Product Area\nKeeping oversight and coordinating routine maintenance, deployments, refreshes, rollbacks, and release Application Upgrades\nExecute disaster recovery, configuration management, and infrastructure readiness tasks\nCollaborate with product owners and architects to influence platform design and future roadmaps\nProvide weekend or on-call support as needed\nContribute to incident, problem, and change management processes\nWHAT WE VALUE\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field\n5-8+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure leadership roles\nStrong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including production-grade design and operation\nProficiency with IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible\nDeep understanding of cloud-native monitoring and incident management frameworks\nHands-on experience in monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana)\nFamiliarity with SimCorp Dimension is a strong plus\nExperience managing both onboarding projects and live production operations\nBroad knowledge of networking, virtualization, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)\nBroad knowledge with Linux and Windows systems, APIs, scripting (PowerShell, Bash), and SQL\nCollaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams\nProven ability to mentor and lead engineers, influence architecture decisions, and manage complexity\nComfort balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution\nFor Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $113,000 to 142,300 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications.
