As trusted advisors, the team members assist clients in making optimal decisions about their solution design.\nYou will be part of a team of more than 30 consultants across EMEA. In the role as Principal Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with the Sales and Customer Success Management teams to understand the client needs and requirements. You will provide high quality demos, workshops and PoCs (proof of concept) in the Portfolio Management and Trading domain and convey the power of our solutions and services.\nYou will be reporting to the Senior Director leading the EMEA Investment Management and Execution Solutions Engineering team.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR\nAnalyzing workflows and requirements of prospects and translating these into SimCorp solutions. \nMapping requests from customers with the product and services offered by SimCorp.\nProviding high quality responses to prospective client RFIs (request for information) and RFPs (request for proposal). \nContributing to and delivering SimCorp One (SimCorp’s core platform) presentations, demos, workshops, and POCs.\nEffectively communicating the benefits and value of SimCorp's solutions to prospective clients. \nObtaining a thorough understanding of SimCorp's sales model and relevant processes. \nGaining and maintaining knowledge of SimCorp's product and service portfolio.\nSharing expertise.\nWHAT WE VALUE\nMost importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. We expect you to be proficient in several of the following skills and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.\n Domain expertise in Portfolio Management and Trading. \nVery good presentation or system demo skills. \nGreat consulting and communication skills (both written and oral). \nMethodical and structured approach. \nExperience in a role in Presales or Implementation in the financial services industry, from an audit company or consulting firm is nice to have. \nFluency in English is essential (spoken and written).
