Static reports and disconnected tools are no longer enough. Portfolio managers need software that helps them understand portfolio positioning, risk usage, and exposure in real time, translate intent into action, and support consistent decision-making directly at the point of trade.\nThis is exactly what we are building.\nBuilt on the SimCorp ONE platform, our modern Portfolio Management solution helps portfolio managers monitor portfolios, analyze exposures and risk, evaluate alternatives, and act within coherent, workflow-driven software designed for true front-office use.\nThis role exists because Portfolio Management is a core strategic capability for SimCorp and our clients. As Product Owner, you will take ownership of key Portfolio Management capabilities and help turn real portfolio manager workflows into intuitive, scalable software - shaping how PMs work every day.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR\nAs Product Manager, you are accountable for execution and impact, not just output.\nYou will:\nOwn the product vision and backlog for one or more Portfolio Management capabilities\nTranslate portfolio manager needs into clear, actionable product increments, delivered sprint by sprint\nLead and continuously prioritize the backlog for 1-2 full-stack scrum teams, balancing PM value, platform quality, and technical health\nWork closely with engineers and designers to shape workflows, interactions, and data models that make sense in real front-office contexts\nBuild deep understanding of portfolio manager workflows, including:Portfolio monitoring and decision preparation\nExposure and risk analysis\nScenario evaluation and rebalancing\nOrder generation and execution workflows\n\nWrite precise product briefs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, focused on PM intent and outcomes\nUse PM feedback, usage data, and client input to validate priorities and iterate quickly\nCollaborate with other Product Owners and Product Managers to ensure coherent front-office workflows across Portfolio Management and adjacent product areas\nSupport demos and client discussions, grounding conversations in real portfolio manager use cases\nAct as a constant voice of the portfolio manager in product and design decisions\nThis is a hands-on individual contributor role with strong ownership, visibility, and direct impact.\nWHAT WE VALUE\nMost importantly, you can see yourself thriving in the role described above.
