The AI Platform team owns that foundation: a compliant, standardized, secure, and user-friendly agentic ecosystem that domain teams can leverage when building their AI features.\nThe team's recent deliveries and current focus include preparing Agent Orchestrator and SimCorp One Neo for production, publishing the Agent Development Stack, implementing evaluation, trust, safety and guardrails, progressing multi-agent orchestration, and exploring MCP for SimCorp One APIs.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR\nThe Principal Software Engineer at SimCorp, is a senior technical role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex software solutions that meet both business and client requirements. With typically 10+ years of experience, this role involves leading engineering projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the scalability, performance, and quality of software systems. The Principal Software Engineer collaborates closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to define technical solutions and integrate them into the product development lifecycle. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, expertise in software engineering practices, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.\nLead the design and development of high-impact software systems and AI driven solutions, ensuring they meet business and client needs.\nProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, security, including product management and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of solutions into the product.\nReview and improve software design, architecture, and implementation to ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality AI driven solutions in production.\nStay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices, continuously improving engineering processes and solutions.\nContribute to the development, technical documentation, product backlog, and ensure alignment with product specifications and user requirements.\nParticipate in code reviews, promoting and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in software development.\nDriving innovation in software engineering, continuously improving processes, tools, and methodology.\nWHAT WE VALUE\n Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above.\n10+ years of extensive hands-on experience in C# .Net development.\nDemonstrated expertise of 5+ years in designing and implementing AI solutions, including both generative and predictive AI.\nComprehensive understanding and practical experience with application architecture, covering both frontend and backend systems\nProven proficiency in working with Azure and Azure DevOps.\nStrong experience with Agile development methodologies, as well as DevOps and CI/CD practices\nAs a person, you have the following traits:\nTaking ownership.
