If you are an innovative, curious, collaborative person who embraces challenges and wants to grow, learn and pursue outcomes with our prestigious financial clients, say Hello to SimCorp!\nAt its foundation, SimCorp is guided by our values - caring, customer success-driven, collaborative, curious, and courageous. Our people-centered organization focuses on skills development, relationship building, and client success. We take pride in cultivating an environment where all team members can grow, feel heard, valued, and empowered.\nIf you like what we’re saying, keep reading!\nWHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US\nAt SimCorp, we build products that power investment management and financial institutions worldwide. We support some of the largest financial institutions in the world to be successful by simplifying their investments, accounting and operations.\nInvestment Operations is a product area within SimCorp’s Product Division, which delivers functionality enabling the operations users to be highly efficient. It also offers full STP and automation capability for the workflows and processes seamlessly across the product areas and the financial institutions workflows.\nAs part of our Investment Operations Product Area, you will contribute to the development of enterprise products within this product area. You will collaborate with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark and Germany, while gaining deep expertise in applied finance and modern software engineering practices.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR\nProduct Value Delivery\nTranslate business goals and user needs into product opportunities with clear value hypotheses. \nPrototype solutions early and often - directly, to validate ideas before committing to full build \nDefine scope collaboratively with stakeholders, keeping scope anchored to user value rather than feature count. \nTrack and communicate the impact of what ships; deliver outcome, not just the output. \nEngineering Quality\nWrite and review technical requirements and acceptance criteria that leave no ambiguity at implementation time. \nAssess feasibility early and frame build-vs-integrate trade-offs in terms of delivery impact, risk, and value - enabling informed decisions across product and engineering. \nBe the last line of defense on quality: review and test deliverables against requirements, run validation, and hold the bar. \nIdentify and highlight technical debt and systemic risks before they become delivery blockers. \nKeep system documentation live and accurate - treated as a product asset, not an afterthought. \nAI-Enabled Development\nUse AI tools (Copilot, Claude, and others) fluently as part of your everyday working routines. \nCritically evaluate AI-generated artifacts - verify correctness and architectural fit before accepting. \nGuide your team on responsible AI usage, when to trust it, when to override it, and how to review it carefully \nIdentify where AI can accelerate prototyping cycles and reduce low-value work in the team. \nTeam Agile Practices\nMaintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog - each item sized, scoped, and ready for the team. \nWork closely with software engineers during implementation - unblock, review and course-correct in real time \nBe the connective tissue between stakeholders and the delivery team: clear in both directions. \nWHAT WE VALUE\nAn experienced Product Engineer doesn’t wait for a spec to be handed to them - they shape it. They prototype before they present, validate before build, and measure after ship. They push back on scope that doesn't serve users, and they focus on quality that does. They make the team faster by removing ambiguity, not by adding process.\nSkills Experience\nStrong software engineering fundamentals in development and testing disciplines. \nDemonstrated ability to move from problem statement to working prototype quickly. \nExperience writing precise technical requirements and acceptance criteria. \nHands-on quality assurance: test design, validation, and defect triage. \nExperience working directly with clients or external counterparties. \nSolid grounding in financial instruments - Repos, Derivatives, or related collateral/securities product \nComfortable running demos, gathering requirements from business users, and translating business workflows into system behavior. \nAbility to frame engineering decisions in terms of user and business value. \nComfort working in ambiguity and structuring problems before solving them. \nStrong stakeholder communication - able to translate freely between technical and non-technical audiences. \nRegular use of AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude, or equivalent) in a professional context. \nDemonstrated critical evaluation of AI-generated outputs - not just accepting but interrogating them. \nUnderstanding of AI limitations relevant to software delivery: hallucination, context loss, security blind spots. \nAgile practitioner: fluent in Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, and iterative delivery. \nStrong documentation habits; treats the knowledge base as part of the product. \nCollaborative by default, decisive when needed. \nBENEFITS\nFlexible working hours and hybrid model - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote \nModern office (next to Wilanowska metro station) with quiet zones and ergonomic workstations \nBase salary with annual bonus structure \nHoliday allowance upon a 2-week vacation \nOccasional remote work across Poland and international options available (up to 24 days domestic, 20 days international per year - subject to internal policy) \nEmployer-paid Medicover Platinum healthcare package (employee-paid family upgrade available) \nMultisport card with 75% employer contribution \nUnum group life insurance (employee-paid upgrade available) \nMedicover travel insurance for private trips and global business travel insurance \nPossibility to join Deutsche Börse Group Share Plan (eligible after 1 year) \nPossibility to develop your career in an international environment \nProfessional training and courses provided by SimCorp \nIntegration events, volunteering initiatives and employee-led clubs \nCompensationrangesarebeingdisclosedattheinitialstageofcandidateengagement.\nVisit our career pages to learn more about working at SimCorp: www.simcorp.com/career\nNEXT STEPS\nPlease send us your application in English via our career site as soon as possible, we process incoming applications continually.
