In this role, the Analyst will produce high quality value-added content, by working closely with the Development, Research, Product and Client Support business units.\nThe output of the Analyst’s work will consist of producing a suite of daily-updated multi-factor risk models and multi-asset class data analytics.\nThe selected candidate will provide continuous operational support for leading products serving global sell-side, buy-side, hedge fund, and asset owner clients. The candidate will use quantitative and qualitative skills to manage the ongoing maintenance of financial market data products, which include operational processes, data analysis, and quality assurance.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR\nPerform Quality Assurance tasks and data analysis to ensure validity of content produced and delivered to SimCorp’s clients\nMonitor financial markets and ensure the correct processing of corporate events, such as IPOs, M&As, stock splits, rights issues, and dividend distributions\nWork closely with other team members based in the London, Warsaw, Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and San Francisco offices of SimCorp\nManipulate large amount of financial data and use various tools to present and analyze results\nAssist the Sales and Client Support teams in resolving data inquiries\nSeek out ways to streamline workflows when suitable\nCollaborate and communicate across all teams involved with data production process\nExpected working day: Tuesday to Saturday\nWHAT WE VALUE\nMinimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field\nClear communication skills and experience working well with team members across locations\nUnderstanding and interest in Financial Markets and Information Technology\nSolid problem-solving and analytical skills, detail oriented\nFinancial certifications, including CFA, FRM, and CAIA, are pluses\nExperience with SQL, Python or other object-oriented programming language, VBA, UNIX/LINUX very beneficial, but not essential\nExperience with financial software (e.g. Bloomberg, Workspace) and financial databases are pluses\nThe Analyst will be joining a highly productive, diverse, entrepreneurial team, itself part of a global organization.
