Why This Role is Important to Us

As our new Software Engineer, you will join SimCorp’sProduct Division where you will become part of a cross-functional and cross-located agile team. We are responsible fordelivering functionality within a specific module of our product - SimCorpDimension. It is an industry-proven investment management system, heavily based on financial modellingwith multidimensional arrays, used by hundreds of corporate clients all over the world. You will apply your talents to all stages of the development lifecycle, including creation and review of user stories, development, design, testing, coding, code reviews, writing automated tests, and support.

What You Will Be Responsible For

You will be using multiple technologies, and your responsibilities will also include:

• Developing core functionality to support the business modules

• Building new solution - both UI and backend - for proven b2b fintech solution, being Angular best practicesadvocate

• Maintaining the existing code base

• Reviewing product code and formulating test scenarios

• Constantly learning and developing yourself, the team, and our product

• Working with product management to refine new features

• ExcellentAngular Skills: Proficiencyin Angular for developing dynamic and responsive web applications.

• GoodAzure Skills: Experience with Azure cloud services and deployment.

• GoodC# Skills: Have insight into the .NET framework and object-oriented software design and programming.

• Some Experience with Functional Programmingor readinessto learnitis a plus: Understanding of one or more functional programming languages (OCaml, Standard ML, F#, Scala, Haskell) is a nice to have for this position.

• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs.

• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architectures.

• Interest and ability to work with complex architecture, think about complex systems, and back-end solutions.

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a similar field.
