SimIS seeks an Integration Specialist to ensure seamless interoperability between diverse border security technologies and systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in system integration, interface design, and the development of common operating pictures that consolidate data from multiple sensor systems. The Integration Specialist works closely with systems engineers and field teams to ensure all components work together effectively to achieve comprehensive border coverage.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field\nMinimum 5 years of systems integration experience with complex technological systems\nKnowledgeable of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for system communication \nKnowledgeable of Cloud-based Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS)\nAbility to obtain and maintain DHS suitability background check\nStrong analytical skills for complex integration challenges\nExcellent technical documentation and coordination abilities\n25% travel required\nTechnical Skills: Expertise in system integration methodologies and best practices\nExperience with interface control documents and system specifications\nKnowledge of common operating picture development and data fusion\nUnderstanding of surveillance system protocols and data formats\nProficiency in integration testing and validation procedures\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure system interoperability between disparate border security technologies\nDevelop and maintain System Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for all system interfaces\nDesign common operating picture specifications that integrate data from all sensor systems\nSupport integration testing and validation of system interfaces\nCoordinate with vendors and technical teams to resolve integration issues\nDevelop integration procedures and technical specifications\nSupport system architecture development with integration expertise\nValidate system integration requirements and specifications\nProvide technical expertise for integration aspects of trade studies\nDocument integration procedures and maintain integration standards\nSupport field teams with integration-related technical issues\nEnsure compliance with CBP integration
