To support our customer, SimIS, Inc. seeks a Senior Emerging Technology SME, Deployable Communications Systems to design, secure, and optimize electronic data networks, hardware, and communication infrastructure so they work together as one integrated system.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications or an equivalent discipline. \nMSP, PRINCE2 or PMI certification is highly desirable.\nTen (10) years of experience in project management of communications or information systems integration, implementation or operation, using program and project management methodologies.\n5-10 years of experience with cloud computing, network automation, enterprise networking, tactical networking, routing and switching, or virtualization.\n5-10 years of experience supporting satellite communications, cybersecurity, zero trust, or AI-enabled network management.\nDemonstrated experience in capability development of deployable CIS, enterprise or tactical CIS, or Signals capacity in a subject matter expert role.\nMinimum 3 years integrating emerging technologies.\nMinimum 3 years in working in NATO or multi-national military environment.\n Responsibilities:Advise DCIS Programme Director (PD) on future DCIS technologies.\nConduct technology assessments of current NATO DCIS and perform capability gap analyses.\nDevelop technical recommendations for capability modernization initiatives.\nParticipate in DCIS architecture reviews.\nSupport strategic planning for capability development of DCIS.\nEvaluate and perform technical assessments of commercial and government-developed technologies pertinent to operational deployment of DCIS.\nProduce capability technical evaluation reports and conduct technical briefings.\nEvaluate integration of future technologies into existing DCIS architectures.\nEvaluate interoperability with legacy systems and Next Generation DCIS and with NATO Federated Mission Networking (FMN), Mission Networks, and Enterprise CIS.\nSupport operational testing and evaluations (OpTEval).\n Benefits:Medical, Dental, and
