This position is also responsible for emptying of trash receptacles, tenant dumpsters, and operating a trash compactor.\nPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:\nRoutinely inspects and patrols the interior and exterior of the facility performing interior and exterior custodial duties including sweeping sidewalks/floors, wet mop sidewalks/floors, operate steam cleaner, operate hand vacuum, c lean and restock restrooms, gather trash and empty trash receptacles; operate compactor and turn trash carts\nOperate a variety of janitorial related equipment to maintain cleanliness of property.\nOperate high-reach or lift equipment to perform debris removal and cleaning of elevated surfaces\nAssist other departments, including but no limited to, Marketing to c lean and patrol during events\nEstablish procedures to insure completion of scheduled cleaning of different areas of the facility\nMaintain a professional, cooperative working relationship with management and all co-workers\nPerform the job in accordance with all applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines (i.e. OSHA standards) to promote a safe working environment\nEnsure the appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, cleaning supplies, equipment and tools are maintained\nNotes damaged or missing property, missing trash containers, and other problems and notifies supervisor\nMay perform additional duties as assigned\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred. Technical School certifications and/or training preferred\nAbility to read and interpret documents and comprehend instructions.
