Your opportunity

The Mall Simon Luxury Outlets is currently seeking a new Security Supervisor, being based at our Mall in Firenze.

As Security Supervisor, you will oversee all security operations to ensure the safety and protection of our guests, employees, and property across the malls. You will supervise the security function across our malls, implement security procedures, coordinate emergency protocols, and collaborate with all mall departments to uphold the highest standards of safety within a luxury environment.

How you will contribute

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of security suppliers across the malls, ensuring security services meet the highest standards, aligned with the image of our malls.

  • Verify daily and weekly reports, planning, attendance, cost summaries, and monthly invoicing.

  • Train and mentor security suppliers on protocols and emergency procedures.

  • Implementing and maintaining security procedures, protocols, and emergency plans

  • Monitoring the safety of guests, staff, assets, and facilities across the mall

  • Conducting regular patrols, inspections, and risk assessments - daily basis

  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies

  • Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

  • Managing CCTV systems, , alarm systems and incident-reporting processes

  • Access Control & Badge Management Coordination

  • Responding promptly to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns

  • Coordinating with external authorities when necessary

  • Preparing reports on incidents, risks, and security performance

  • Supporting VIP arrivals, high-profile events, and sensitive operations

  • Providing ongoing safety training for mall employees

  • Ensuring a discreet, professional, and guest-focused security presence

  • Ensure full responsibility for the security budget, monitoring costs and ensuring compliance with financial targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Security Officer or Supervisor is required; experience in luxury hospitality or a similarly high-standard environment is a plus

  • Strong leadership, communication, and crisis-management skills

  • Solid understanding of safety regulations, risk prevention, and emergency protocols

  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations

  • High ethical standards, discretion, and integrity

  • Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities

  • Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control) and incident reporting

  • Fluent in Italian, good in English is required (additional languages are a plus)

  • A guest-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
