We’ve not only shaped what Australia looks like, but more importantly, how Australia homes.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nWe are seeking a Construction Supervisor to join our team in working across the greater West region from Geelong to Colac, on a full-time, on-going basis. As a Construction Supervisor, your primary focus is to manage a portfolio of home builds from site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage. Reporting to the Regional Building Manager, some key accountabilities of this role include:\nCoordinate and manage trades, establish a reliable trade base\nBuild strong and ongoing working relationships with clients, trades and key stakeholders\nEnsure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times\nEnsure quality homes are built within set time frames and budgeted guidelines\nEnforce and adhere to OH&S regulations\nDay to day management of trades on site, suppliers, completion of paperwork and other admin tasks\nWeekly KPI reporting\nWHO YOU ARE\nIdeally, we're looking for someone who has:\nExperience supervising residential home builds, residential construction experience and/or a strong trade background (but more importantly, an eagerness to learn and be a part of a cohesive team)\nA thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHSE regulations and Quality Assurance (QA) systems (mandatory)\nHave completed the General Construction Induction Course/White Card (mandatory)\nHold a valid driver's licence (mandatory)\nSolid project management skills, including experience in managing and developing a trade network\nAble to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group, including what it means to deliver excellent customer service\nStrong time management skills\nStrong IT/administration skills\nAnd just as importantly, an eagerness to learn and be a part of a supportive team.\nWHY JOIN US?\nAside from a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's leading ASX listed residential builders, Simonds can offer you:\nGreat benefits across a wide range of products and services including a generous discount on our award-winning homes as well as all the great things that go in them. \nAccess to our free employee well-being program, including counselling, nutritional, financial, and legal support for both you and your immediate family. \nAccess to Simonds Reward Days -
