Cat previously worked at Instagram and Facebook and earned degrees in math and computer science at MIT. Zach previously studied computer science and statistics at U Chicago and led software at PEAK6. We have grown into a strong team of 20+ and are continuing to scale quickly.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for an SDR Manager to lead, coach, and grow our sales development team. You will own the team’s performance and help turn outbound prospecting into a repeatable source of qualified pipeline for Simple.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who has personally succeeded as an SDR and knows how to make other reps better. You will lead call coaching, sharpen messaging and objection handling, and build a team that brings energy, resilience, and accountability to the work. You will partner closely with our CEO, Account Executives, and GTM Ops team from our SF office.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary & meaningful equity\n\nEmployee-friendly equity terms\n\nAn office located in SF\n\nHealth, dental & vision insurance\n\nFree lunch & dinner at the office\n\nLate night Ubers\n\nRegular team events & offsites\n\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the SDR team through regular 1:1s, live call coaching, call reviews, and roleplays.\n\nOwn team targets for qualified meetings and pipeline, using activity and conversion data to identify and improve performance gaps.\n\nHire, onboard, and develop SDRs, with clear expectations and practical ramp plans.\n\nLead by example on the phones and hold your own personal quota to help reps improve prospecting, qualification, and objection handling.\n\nPartner with Sales and GTM Ops to refine target accounts, messaging, outbound sequences, and handoffs to Account Executives.\n\nBuild a motivated, high-accountability team through direct feedback, consistent support, and recognition of strong work.\n\nWhat You'll Need\n3+ years in SDR, BDR, or outbound B2B SaaS sales roles, including 1+ year managing or formally leading an SDR team.\n\nA track record of meeting or exceeding targets as an SDR and helping a team deliver qualified pipeline.\n\nStrong cold-calling skills and the ability to coach reps through real calls, messaging, and objections.\n\nExperience improving rep performance through clear feedback, structured coaching, and follow-through.\n\nComfort using CRM, prospecting, and sales engagement tools, and translating performance data into action.\n\nHigh ownership, clear communication, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced startup.
