The company also runs a foundation that supports health education and provides sanitary supplies to girls in underserved communities.\n\nJob Summary: SimplePay Capital is seeking motivated and goal-oriented individuals to join our team as Interns in the following roles: Collections Officers and Loans Officers. In these positions, you will play a key role in managing and expanding the loan portfolio, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring customer retention in line with company standards.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities: \n\nCollections Officer Responsibilities\n\nLoan Repayment Monitoring: Track loan repayment schedules to ensure payments are made on time and in full.\n\nRepayment Follow-Up: Proactively contact clients regarding upcoming or missed payments and negotiate repayment plans to avoid defaults.\n\nCustomer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients during the collections process, ensuring resolutions are amicable and non-intrusive.\n\nDebt Recovery: Manage the recovery of overdue loans, identify accounts at risk of default, and take appropriate actions to mitigate financial loss.\n\nCollection Reporting: Maintain accurate records of collection efforts, including calls made, payment plans, and successful recoveries, and provide regular progress reports to management.\n\nKYC & Due Diligence: Ensure clients undergoing collections are thoroughly vetted and their information is up-to-date.\n\nFraud Detection & Prevention: Identify potential fraud risks or suspicious loan applications that may affect repayment of loan management.\n\nAdditional Duties: Assist with other tasks related to loan collections, risk management, and customer service as required by management.\n\nLoans Officer Responsibilities\n\nCustomer Acquisition & Retention: Attract new customers and cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to meet acquisition and retention targets.\n\nLoan Application & Processing: Review, assess, and process loan applications to ensure all documentation is provided and meets company standards.\n\nLoan Management: Disburse loans and monitor their progress, ensuring compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate records of all loan transactions.\n\nCustomer Support & Education: Provide clear, thorough information about loan options, repayment schedules, and terms to ensure customers fully understand their obligations.\n\nKYC & Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks to verify loan eligibility and ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.\n\nCustomer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the loan process.\n\nReporting & Record Keeping: Accurately document customer interactions, loan applications, and approvals, and generate regular operational reports.\n\nLoan Disbursements: Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of loans, keeping clients informed about the status of their applications and loan accounts.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as assigned by management related to loan issuance, monitoring, and customer care.\n\nOverall Shared Responsibilities\n\nTeamwork & Collaboration: Work closely with the Branch Manager and team members to ensure smooth loan management and collection processes.\n\nMarket Intelligence: Provide valuable insights into customer behavior, market trends, and potential risks to inform business strategy and decision-making.\n\nCompliance: Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in loan processing and collections.\n\nPerformance Metrics: Meet and exceed targets for loan disbursement, collections, and customer satisfaction.\n\nQualifications, Skills and Experience: \n\nMUST HAVE A CERTIFICATE.\n\nStrong computer literacy and fluency in English AND LUGANDA.\n\nMUST BE Flexible to relocate as required.\n\nStrong attention to detail and a target-driven approach.\n\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.\n\nAge: Below 25
