The role leads a cross-functional squad responsible for configuring, integrating, and operating platforms that enable automation, intelligent workflows, rules engines, and agent-driven decision support across business and IT processes. Working closely with Business Operations, Digital, Data, and Product stakeholders, the Squad Lead translates priorities from the Agentic Platforms Tribe roadmap into an executable backlog, ensuring reliable outcomes, controlled automation, and governed use of intelligent capabilities. This role ensures agentic platforms deliver measurable efficiency gains while remaining secure, explainable, and compliant with enterprise governance.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field\n7+ years’ experience in automation platforms, workflow systems, or enterprise applications\nProven experience leading platform squads or cross-functional delivery teams\nExperience in regulated or governance-heavy environments preferred\nResponsibilities\nPlatform ownership and roadmap\nOwn execution of the agentic platforms roadmap within the Agentic Platforms Tribe\nShape priorities and sequencing with the Tribe Lead and Product Owners\nDrive standardization of automation, workflow, and agent patterns\nEnsure alignment with Integration, Core Platforms, Data, and Security capabilities\nDelivery and operations\nLead the agentic platforms squad delivering configuration, integrations, and enhancements\nEnsure reliable operation of automation and agent-based workflows\nOwn release planning, testing, and production support\nProactively manage incidents and prevent repeat failures\nGovernance and collaboration\nEnsure agentic platform changes comply with architecture, integration standards, security, and AI governance requirements\nCoordinate closely with Integration, Data, Security, and Risk teams\nManage agentic platform vendor delivery within tribe-level governance frameworks\nEscalate architectural, data, or risk trade-offs as required\nCompetencies\nStrong understanding of automation platforms, workflow orchestration, and agent-based systems\nExperience operating platforms that introduce decision automation in governed environments\nAbility to balance innovation with control, explainability, and operational stability\nStrong stakeholder engagement across technical, business, and governance teams\nKey Performance Indicators\n Availability and stability of agentic and automation platforms\nReduction in manual effort and process inefficiencies enabled by automation\nReliability and correctness of automated and agent-driven outcomes\nCompliance with AI governance, risk, and control requirements\nSatisfaction of business and operational stakeholders consuming automation services\nContribution to culture, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement\nWays of working (Agile & squad-based)\nLead a cross-functional agentic platforms squad using Agile delivery principles\nOperate with clear platform ownership and accountability\nPromote reuse, standardization, and continuous improvement\nBalance experimentation with enterprise governance and operational reliability\nSpecial Conditions of Employment:South African citizen\nMIE, clear criminal and credit\nDriver’s license and/or own reliable transport\nRemuneration and benefits:Market related salary\nMedical aid\nProvident fund\nStaff account\nONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
