The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising and executing electrical and condition monitoring maintenance activities, providing technical supervision, and supporting the maintenance and operation of an industrial water treatment plant.\nResponsibilities:\nEnsure the effective application of and adherence to the maintenance management system and ensure assets are clearly marked and controlled through the asset register.\nSupervise, schedule and coordinate electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and condition monitoring maintenance teams.\nOversee preventive, corrective and condition-based predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.\nEnsure maintenance activities, including vibration analysis, IR scanning and equipment performance evaluations, are completed, reported, recorded, actioned and closed out.\nMonitor and submit detailed monthly reports on equipment condition, preventive and corrective maintenance, completed and outstanding work, and relevant contractual requirements.\nEnsure adherence to established communication lines and reporting requirements.\nApply effective human resource principles, administration and controls to meet performance objectives.\nEnsure the prompt completion and submission of preventive maintenance schedules, job cards, timesheets and relevant departmental documentation.\nEnsure safety and housekeeping standards comply with applicable health and safety legislation and ISO system requirements.\nEnsure approved and contractual stock levels are maintained and controlled.\nMaintain a high standard of monitoring and reporting on electro-mechanical plant conditions.\nAssist with equipment specifications, sourcing, quality control, pricing, tendering and the implementation of new electrical, mechanical and civil installations.\nManage breakdowns and prioritise maintenance activities promptly.\nSupervise, manage, train and coordinate the maintenance team.\nManage maintenance stores and inventory while ensuring appropriate storage and stock control.\nApply Root Cause Analysis methods and facilitate FMECA where required.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function.\nRequirements:\nN4 qualification as a Millwright or Electrician, with a recognised electrical apprenticeship and Section 13 Trade Test.\nMedium Voltage qualification and MV switching experience is mandatory.\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.\nOwn reliable transport and willingness to travel to support other sites within the region where required.\nExperience in the maintenance and operations of industrial water treatment plants.\nProven experience in applying and controlling maintenance management systems.\nStrong electrical background with the ability to accurately analyse and troubleshoot faults and provide technical support and guidance to artisans.\nStrong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety and Mine Health and Safety legislation, regulations and practices.\nExperience in applying Root Cause Analysis methodologies.\nKnowledge of operational and safety procedures relating to maintenance activities, electrical equipment and MV switching.\nRelevant project execution experience.\nStrong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and SharePoint.\nStrong organisational, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.\nEffective performance management skills and a sound understanding of human resource systems and procedures.\nStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines and multitask.\nAbility to work independently and proactively as part of a team.\nStrong time management skills and a solution- and improvement-focused mindset.\nMedically fit to work in an industrial plant environment, including exposure to noise, vibration, dust, fumes, hazardous materials and varying weather conditions.\nComfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.\nPhysically capable of performing the duties required in an industrial maintenance environment.\nWillingness to perform standby duties after hours and work weekends.\nBenefits:\n\nSalary: negotiable.\nContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.\nApply for this role today, contact Abigail King at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn.\nYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: \nWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
