Responsibilities...\n\nComplete preventative maintenance activities on the following equipment (but not limited to):\nOut of Warranty Fitness Equipment\nSwimming Pool/Spa Systems\nHeating Ventilation Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC)\nHot and Cold-Water Systems\nAll building preventative maintenance tasks\nSauna\nSteam Rooms\n\nComplete any re-active maintenance that is logged in the maintenance & Health and Safety Job book.\nRespond to all emergency repairs. \nEnsure the Maintenance Operator or Maintenance Technician (where applicable) onsite is continually upskilled to complete his/her responsibilities. \nDiscuss all contractor requests if required with the Club General Manager and Regional Facility Manager before requesting a purchase order. \nEscalate any issues that can’t be resolved to the Club General Manager and Regional Facility Manager. \nEnsure the preventative maintenance within the clubs is completed in line with VASA policies & procedures. \nFulfil duties which covers Health and Safety processes and checks required to maintain H&S compliance within the club. \nCommunicate guidelines regarding the understanding of and adherence to the health & safety policy.\nEnsure that all documents regarding the health and safety policy are filed regularly and the cabinet and its contents are kept up to date.\nCommunicate all operating standards to the relevant staff through their heads of departments and that they remain updated.\nEnsure that work standards, security and safety is monitored and improved in all areas of the facility.\nConduct Health and Safety Audits as directed by the business.\nEnsuring all work carried out is done so in a safe manner, & in line with the VASA H&S policy.\nManage all utility consumption within the club.\nInvestigate and resolve high water and electricity consumption.\nAddress all state of repair Brand Standards concerns in a timely manner\nAssist the Club General Manager with managing the following budgets to ensure they are not exceeded.Maintenance Premises\nMaintenance Physical Plant\nMaintenance Pools\nMaintenance Water Hygiene\nMaintenance Grounds\nMaintenance Consumables\nMaintenance Health and Safety\nSociety Expenses\n\nAs your HOD role, assist the club teams as and where required, and facilitate a healthy team environment. \nFulfil the duties of an HOD within club, which includes being an
