HSE OFFICER\nDUTY STATION: HEAD OFFICE\nPATTERSON GRADE: C2\nThe incumbent reports directly to the Senior HSE Officer.\nKEY PERFORMANCE AREA:\nAssist the Senior HSE Officer to Develop and recommend Occupational Health and Safety programs.\nAssist in the execution of SHE Standard, Policies and Procedures e.g. Hand Tool Policy, Random Alcohol Testing, for organizational efficiency.\nMaintain HSE training attendance records.\nAssist to develop toolbox talks, training and awareness materials.\nConduct physical workplace inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions.\nEnsure that investigations, filing process and relevant forms are prepared for injuries on duty.\nAssist in arranging for external medical referrals of staff members to external specialist/s as a result of injuries sustained in the course of employment.\nEnsure that an updated record of staff is kept for all yearly medicals.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nNational Diploma Safety Management.\nTwo (2) years
