You’ll personally design and build the most complex, highest-risk features across the web and back-end services that power Core Group’s omnichannel platform, while raising the technical standard of the wider engineering team through strong design, code review and mentorship.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nDesign and build complex end-to-end features across Angular/React front ends, .NET/C# and Node.js services, and SQL/NoSQL data stores.\nContribute production code regularly and set the technical standard by example.\nBuild and maintain back-end APIs and services used by web and native mobile clients, with clean, well-versioned contracts.\nTranslate solution architecture into detailed component, API and data designs that the team can implement.\nLead code and peer reviews, champion automated testing, clean code, maintainability and secure engineering practices.\nMentor engineers and help strengthen technical craft without formal line-management responsibility.\nDesign and build integrations between e-commerce, trade-in and POS and core ERP/OMS/WMS/CRM platforms using Azure integration technologies.\nSupport production issue resolution and technical readiness for peak trading and major product launches.\nTechnology stack\nFront end: Angular and React\nBack end: .NET / C# and Node.js\nData: SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB\nCloud: Microsoft Azure\nIntegration: Azure Integration Stack with ERP / OMS / WMS / CRM platforms\nWhat we’re looking for\nDegree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n8+ years in full-stack software development, including recent experience as a senior or lead engineer.\nDeep hands-on experience across Angular, React, .NET/C#, Node.js, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and/or Cosmos DB.\nStrong Azure and integration experience, including API design and versioning.\nExcellent technical design, code-quality, testing and secure-coding discipline.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor and influence other engineers.\nAdvantageous\nRetail, e-commerce, POS or omnichannel experience.\nExperience building on Azure and the Azure Integration Stack at scale.\nExperience delivering through high-demand events such as product launches and peak trading.\nWhat will make you successful\nYou are still deeply hands-on, enjoy the most difficult technical work and naturally raise the quality of everyone around you.\nHow we work\nWe value customer focus, getting things done, teamwork, innovation, integrity, passion and embracing differences.
