Responsibilities include but are not limited to efficiencies, installing, maintaining and supporting the WMS. In-depth knowledge of the WMS as well as logistics processes to be applied for training end users, requirements gathering, WMS support, project coordination and business analysis. Information management, storage and analysis of data through computer networks, systems, and computer databases. This role will provide general maintenance and system updates on WMS software, analyse and troubleshoot problems as well as work closely with operational and IT teams to assist where needed.\nThis role will be expected to upskill team-mates, through knowledge and experience sharing. And likewise, to learn from the experiences and knowledge of fellow team-mates. They will partner with other teams to design, develop & implement solutions.\nTo be successful in this role, you should be a technologist at heart, deeply analytical and capable of critical thinking. You should be able to grasp business concepts and be able to translate those to deliverables.\nResponsibilities:Define business requirements for WMS software upgrades deployment, software upgrades, and system configuration\n\nImplement and provide WMS support across applicable facilities\n\nConduct WMS setup and account modifications, training for maintenance, setup for new clients, and upgrades to current clients\n\nRecommend and manage operational system changes including new concepts, system improvements, changes with software supplier, and other innovations needed for long-term success\n\nCreate training documents and resources for system users\n\nWhere required develop testing scenarios, conduct systems tests, identify discrepancies, troubleshoot solutions, and provide resolutions\n\nWork with warehouse staff on WMS configurations and stock reconciliations\n\nAssist all departments and other onsite business partners with WMS requests\n\nDocuments and enforce SOP and best practices, keep training manuals and related documentation updated and available for local use\n\nSupport all WMS related integrations with different systems\n\nRespond to calls, email, and personal requests for technical support\n\nManaging and coordinating various projects\n\nWhere necessary travel, both locally and internationally, may be required to support implementations and continuous improvements as well as training\n\nRequirements:\nBSc/BCom in Computer Science or equivalent\n\nA minimum of 3 or more years of experience required (kindly note that the years of experience is only a rough guideline, and the appropriate level will be ascertained during the interview process)\n\n1 year's experience in logistics\n\nExperience as a super user in one or more WMS advantageous\n\nUnderstanding of WMS, order management applications and database systems\n\nSofteon experience advantageous\n\nContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.\nOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.\nApply for this role today, contact Gaby Turner at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn.
