If you are driven by the desire to make a meaningful difference in students' lives and wish to contribute to an institution that values academic excellence, connection, and student success, we would love to hear from you.\nJoin us on our journey of shaping futures!\nJob Purpose:\nThe online Student Wellness Manager is accountable for overseeing the overall psychosocial wellbeing of distance learning students through providing counselling services, social education and awareness programmes and life skills development.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nCounselling\nImplementation of on-site primary counselling services, trauma containment & crisis management\nMarketing & Promotion of the service to students\nMaintaining of case files and counselling statistics within SACSSP/HPCSA standards\nCommunity Engagement (CE)\nCreate a campus specific planner for CE projects and manage the implementation thereof for each site\nEnsure the active functioning of the CE committee of the Student Council\nMonitor, evaluate and analyse projects to inform future planning & measure impact of projects\nManagement of the Student Council\nPlan and implement the SC election process\nProvide enough training, team building and development opportunities for the SC\nEnsure the active participation and engagement of SC members in campus life through the various committees, portfolios, meetings and other related activities as per the SC process\nSocial Awareness & Education\nDesign and Plan effective Social Awareness & Education Campaigns aimed at addressing campus specific needs\nManage the effective implementation of such programmes\nEvaluation and analysis of Programmes to inform future planning\nReporting\nFortnightly Reporting on all KPAs\nConsolidated Semester Reporting\nCompletion of all online tracking systems\nUpdate graduate database\nRequirements:\nNQF Level 8 Qualification in Social work or counselling psychology\nNQF Level 9 Qualification in Social work or counselling psychology (Advantegeous)\nRegistration as a Social Worker with the SACSSP or a registered Counsellor or Psychologist with the HPCSA\n1 - 2 years of face-to-face counselling experience, post-qualification\n2-3 years’ experience working with the youth.\nComfortable using technology for uploading and accessing client files.\nAvailability on evenings and weekends is considered a plus.\nRosebank College is an equal opportunities employer;
