The overall purpose of this position is to assist the Operations Manager within the Cash in Transit division and ensure that Cash in Transit (CIT) operations are conducted according to planned procedures and schedules.\nMinimum Requirements:\nClear Criminal record\nPSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification\nCash In Transit (CIT) certificate\nFirearm competency - with a minimum handgun (for business purposes) qualification\nComputer literate (compulsory)\nAt least 3 years’ experience in security industry or similar role (Advantageous at FSG)\nCIT management/ supervisory experience is advantageous\nValid driver’s license is advantageous\nOwn transport is advantageous\nAble to work under pressure\nPrepared to work irregular hours\nClear disciplinary record\nKey Performance Areas (not totally inclusive):\nTake full responsibility and accountability for the vehicle i.e. report mechanical faults, refuelling, operating the various security systems, ensure cleanliness of the vehicle, etc. \nAssisting with daily operational requirements\nEnsure security and manage movement of CIT schedules during transit\nDriving of the CIT vehicle when needed (if applicable)\nAccident prevention and reporting\nMaintain contact with the controllers\nCarryout Security drills and maintain security awareness\nTake preventative actions towards any reported suspicious activity\nLiaise with clients and all staff - specifically Management\nComplete documentation and administration e.g. daily roster and reports to be submitted to management\nReport all delays to the Operation Manager immediately\nRisk Management and compliance\nOther Personality Attributes and core competencies:\nMust be honest and reliable\nMust have good verbal and language abilities\nMust be assertive\nPay attention to detail\nCustomer service and relations\nQuality Assurance\nPlanning and organising skills\nAlertness\nWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.\nWhilst preference is given to existing employees at all times and the choice made is purely on merit, Historically Disadvantaged Candidates and Black Female Candidates are encouraged and supported in the FSG team.
