We value simplicity, ownership, and results, and we are committed to helping government teams deliver reliable, better run programs for the constituents who depend on them.\nPosition Overview\nThe Professional Services Manager leads a team within Professional Services, Analysts or Project Managers, overseeing that team's day-to-day responsibilities and quality across implementations. This role also serves as project manager or lead on a select number of projects directly. The Manager is well versed in the SimpliGov platform, typically bringing 4 or more years of platform tenure and or developed expertise in a specific practice area.\nThis role reports to the Director of Professional Services and partners closely with fellow Managers on project assignment and cross team alignment. This is a leadership role that works with cross functional peers to achieve company goals, scale business practices, and drive SimpliGov culture of high performance. This role is remote, managing a team of Analysts and or Project Managers within Professional Services.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead a select number of projects directly as project manager\nOwn the quality and day-to-day execution of everything your team delivers\nKeep the team's workload prioritized, capacity planned, and standards compliant\nMentor team members and coach them toward their next level\nOwn performance management end to end, from evaluations to ongoing feedback\nRun the HR side of the job: time off, expense approvals, bonus calculations, hiring, and beyond\nTeam up with fellow Managers to keep project assignments balanced across the practice\nTurn team KPIs into performance reports leadership can act on\nBring the team's data and wins to the stage at company all hands, as needed\nStep in to de-escalate customer issues and protect satisfaction scores\nTrack market and industry trends, stay sharp on the SimpliGov product, and relay customer and CS insights back to Product\nKeep sharpening internal processes so they scale with the team\nQualifications\nRequired\n5 or more years of manager or people management experience, including having led a team of at least 5 people\n4 or more years of SaaS or implementation experience, with well-developed expertise in the SimpliGov platform and or a specific practice area\nProven track record overseeing quality and delivery across multiple concurrent implementations\nExperience conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development planning\nStrong prioritization and capacity planning skills across a team's workload\nExceptional attention to detail and emotional intelligence\nClear and concise written and verbal communication\nOwnership mindset and accountability\nAbility to de-escalate customer issues and maintain customer satisfaction\nFamiliarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models\nPreferred\nPrior experience managing a team through a period of rapid company growth\nExperience partnering with Sales or Customer Success on renewal and expansion conversations\nWhat We Offer\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance, with 80% employer contribution for employees and 75% for dependents\nCompany sponsored life, short term, and long-term disability insurance\n11 paid holidays\nFlexible Paid Time-off\n401(k) plan with 4% employer match\nMonthly stipends for home office and wellness expenses\nOpportunity to drive digital transformation in government and have a lasting civic impact\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nSimpliGov is an equal opportunity employer.
