DevOps Architect

Responsibilities:

• Experience in building platforms and frameworks to create consistent, verifiable, and automatic management of applications and infrastructure between non-production and production environments.
• Configure and deploy cloud-based applications and implement DevOps best practices.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including infrastructure design and debugging required to achieve successful implementation.
• Manage and build CI/CD pipelines for various code bases hosted on different source controls (Git/SVN).
• Deploy monitoring solutions for applications and leverage APM tools like NewRelic/Datadog.
• Basic administration of MySQL servers.
• Manage multi-account setup on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Assist in setting up an NOC team by setting up alarms/incident management processes using PagerDuty.
• Understanding and executing best practices to manage and reduce security risk and protect your networks and data.
• Managed and led a 2-3 member team of SDE-4 engineers, driving delivery, technical excellence, and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements:

• Experience with source control management (Git, SVN).
• Experience in IaC (Terraform).
• Minimum 8+ years of DevOps experience with at least 4 years of experience in AWS Cloud.
• Exposure to automation using Jenkins/GitLab or AWS CodeDeveloper tools.
• Experience with containerization using Docker (ECS will be a plus).
• Strong Scripting Skills (Bash, Python).
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Nagios, Grafana, Zabbix).
• Experience managing Dev/Test environments. (Production environment will be a plus).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
