So, we need smart, talented, and humble people who share our values to join us as we disrupt the home security space and relentlessly pursue our mission of keeping Every Home Secure. \nWhat You’ll Do:\nPrimary Responsibilities Include:\nContribute to the full lifecycle design of security focused products, owning specific subsystems or domains end-to-end.\nIdentify and analyze cross-functional tradeoffs between design alternatives, including impact on performance, schedule, cost, risk, complexity, and scale.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical, firmware, industrial design, sourcing, and product management.\nExecute the product development process from early-stage concept, through prototyping, testing, and production, to ensure products meet requirements, cost, and schedule targets.\nLead prototype development and testing, including designing test strategies to validate product performance and resolve issues.\nLead design reviews and discussions with suppliers and global manufacturing partners to optimize designs for mass production.\nLead the communication and design execution with global manufacturing partners.\nContribute to the Technical Requirements Document in collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nContribute to product architecture and system-level design, with deep ownership of your assigned subsystems and ensuring alignment with product requirements.\nTranslate high-level product and system requirements into detailed, actionable tasks and deliverables within your domain.\nParticipate in risk identification activities and escalate issues appropriately to program leadership.\nStay current with emerging technologies, sensors, and manufacturing processes to inform product design and innovation.\nDrive your areas of ownership forward with a strong sense of urgency.\nProvide technical input to product roadmap discussions.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. We use a market-based compensation approach to set our target annual base pay ranges and make adjustments annually.
