The successful candidate will carry out day-to-day operations duties during our peak season, and then transition into Agronomy duties later in the season.\nKey Responsibilities\nRetail Operations\nAssist in coordinating and executing product movement and organization\nAssist in loading and unloading of product from customers and suppliers\nAssist operations employees with various tasks, especially in busy season and especially when a customer needs to be served\nAssist in treating seed, as required\nConduct inventory counts twice a week\nComplete loadout tickets for customers on every transaction\nMaintain clean and tidy yard including mowing grass, clearing garbage, levelling gravel, etc.\nAgronomist Intern Scouting Program Participant\nResponsible for crop scouting three of your own fields throughout the growing season\nConsult regularly with your local Agronomist, ACE, and/or Agronomy Lead before and after scouts\nUse all technology and tools, including AgWorld, to track your scouts\nAssist with crop scouting as directed by Agronomy Lead, Agronomy Consulting Expert (ACE) and/or Agronomist\nagPROVE Trial Program\nExecution and maintenance of field signing initiative\nAssist with applying, scouting or capturing data from a trial field, as needed\nAssisting in field days and customer tour days of trial fields\nRole Shadowing & Continued Development\nRide-alongs and role shadowing other roles in the company including Account Managers and Ag Innovation Leads.\nActively participate in the Winfield United Agronomy & Intern Training Program\nSimplot Grower Solutions Team Member\nContribute to and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace\nConduct yourself in a professional manner in and out of the workplace\nKeep and maintain confidentiality of all customers and Simplot Grower Solutions business\nEnsure all licenses are up to date and in compliance with provincial and municipal regulations\nBe familiar with and live the values that are defined by the Simplot Grower Solutions\nSet, maintain, and live high ethical and moral standards\nSupport safety practices and initiatives as set by safety officer and ensure safe driving habits\nDemonstrate respect and courtesy for all team members, customers, suppliers, and community\nTypical Education\nEnrolled in post-secondary education\nOther Information\nValid Class 5 driver’s license\nManual dexterity and manual labour\nAgri-Industry Hours -
