This role partners closely with the Site HR Manager and corporate HR Centers of Expertise to execute HR programs locally, support employee relations needs, and ensure consistent and compliant people practices.\nThis is a highly visible, operational HR role ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being on the floor, supporting leaders in real time, and contributing to a strong employee experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nFront-Line Leader & Hourly Employee Support\nProvide direct HR support to front-line leaders working with hourly employees.\nSupport front-line leaders with disciplinary actions, documentation, and employee discussions.\nConduct exit interviews and share themes and feedback with site leadership, as appropriate.\nServes as the local subject matter expert (SME) for payroll processes, reviewing and approving timecards to ensure hours are accurately calculated and compliant with company policies prior to processing.\nEmployee Relations & Investigations\nConduct employee investigations related to non-discriminatory complaints and track outcomes.\nEnsure timely follow-up with leaders and employees regarding investigation status, next steps, and documentation.\nMaintain investigation files and records in accordance with record retention requirements.\nPartner with the Site HR Manager and Company Complaint Process Manager on escalated employee relations matters.\nCompliance & Workforce Programs\nManage return-to-work processes, ADA accommodations, and temporary or modified work assignments.\nEnsure consistent application of company policies and HR operating standards at the site level.\nHR Operations & Collaboration\nCoordinate and deliver site-level HR services to support compliance, risk mitigation, and daily operational needs.\nServe as the first point of contact for site HR needs, redirecting HR inquiries to HR Solutions or appropriate business subject matter experts.\nSupport site HR reporting, recordkeeping, and documentation requirements.\nFacilitate local HR communications for workgroups or functions, as needed.\nSupport the Site HR Manager with people-related projects and organizational change activities.\nAssist in resolving HR process escalations in partnership with the Site HR Manager, HR Solutions, and COEs.\nChampion company values, culture, and the HR Operating Model through consistent daily practices.\nManage organizational structure and position management processes by ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee movements, reporting relationship changes, and organizational updates within the HRIS.\nTalent & Leader Development Support\nPartner with leaders on talent acquisition needs, including interview coordination and hiring support.\nSupport employees through the onboarding process, from offer acceptance through new hire orientation.\nSupport execution of site initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.\nCoach and support front-line leaders through established training programs and day-to-day guidance.\nTypical Education\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nRelevant Experience\n3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or operations environment.\nExperience supporting front-line leaders and hourly workforces.\nWorking knowledge of employment laws, employee relations practices, and HR policies.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.\nAbility to balance employee advocacy with business needs.\nRequired Certifications\nHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.\nOther Information\nExperience conducting employee investigations.\nJob Requisition ID: 27651\nTravel Required: Up to 25%\nPay Grade: Global Grade 4\nLocation(s): ABW Plant - Rock Springs\nCountry: United States\n**The Simplot Company is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, marital status, or any other protected status.\nIf the Simplot Company decides to offer you this position, such offer will be conditioned on your satisfactory completion of a post-offer criminal background check.
