Located about two hours from Bend, this region is known for its strong agricultural community and production of alfalfa, grass hay, pasture hay, and meadow crops. If you have a passion for agriculture and enjoy working directly with growers, this role provides an outstanding opportunity to build a long-term career.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs a Crop Advisor Trainee, you'll work closely with an experienced Crop Advisor while gradually taking ownership of customer relationships and agronomic responsibilities. Through hands-on training and mentorship, you'll learn how to:\nBuild trusted relationships with growers and ranchers across the territory\nRecommend crop nutrition, crop protection, seed, specialty, and technology solutions\nConduct sales calls and provide agronomic recommendations\nSupport growers throughout the growing season by monitoring crop performance and identifying opportunities to improve yields and profitability\nManage customer records and collaborate with operational teams to ensure exceptional service\nDevelop the skills and knowledge needed to transition into a full Crop Advisor role\nThis position is designed as a development opportunity, with the goal of preparing the right individual to take on a full Crop Advisor territory as quickly as readiness allows.\nTypical Education\nBachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Business, or a related field preferred\nEquivalent agricultural experience may be considered in lieu of degree\nValid driver's license required\nAbility to work outdoors in varying field conditions and seasonal schedules\nAgriculture sales, agronomy, crop consulting, or agricultural retail experience is helpful but not required\nRelevant Experience\nWe're open to a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
